A major highway in Auburn will be closed for five days early next month, so upgrades can be made the Finger Lakes Railway tracks.
North Street (Route 34) near York Street will be closed from November 2nd to November 6th.
Drivers traveling south on Route 34 will be detoured west at Turnpike Road to Route 38 south to Routes 5 and 20 east back to Route 34. Drivers traveling north on Route 34 will be detoured at Routes 5 and 20 west to Route 38 north to Turnpike Road back to Route 34.
Message boards will direct drivers to the detours.
