Spingler Sworn in as Deputy Police Chief

Auburn has a new Deputy Police Chief.

While then Sergeant Tim Spingler was promoted to the role back in July, he was officially sworn in at Thursday’s City Council Meeting. Spingler replaces former deputy chief Roger Anthony, who retired from the force in April.

Four other officers also received their official promotions:

Matt Androsko, Lieutenant was promoted to Captain of Patrol.
Mike Merkley was promoted to Lieutenant.
Ben Caruso was promoted to Sergeant.
Andrew Young was promoted to Sergeant.
