State Senator Rachel May was recently in Cayuga County to visit Cayuga Milk Ingredients.
Speaking on FLX Morning, she said they allow area farmers a stable market to sell their products.
“They are a stable, reliable market for the dairy farmers to send their milk to and then they produce this very high-quality product that can be shipped all over the world.”
She added it’s an impressive thing to see.
“I was so impressed with what they were doing and how scientific they are and how careful they are in separating the different grades. It was fascinating,” said May.
Cayuga Milk Ingredients specializes in producing dry milk products such as milk powders. The company also produces liquid products like condensed milk.
