A child was struck by a vehicle outside Seward Elementary School In Auburn Thursday morning.
According to The Citizen, a ten year old was hit while being accompanied by a crossing guard at a crosswalk on Metcalf Drive.
The child was taken to Upstate Hospital in Syracuse for non-life-threatening injuries.
The 85 year old driver was ticketed for failure to to yield the right of way to a pedestrian at a crosswalk.
