State Police are investigating the report that two state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision buses were vandalized in Cayuga County.

One of the buses parked at a repair shop in Victory was reportedly spray-painted with the words, “Can You Hear Us Now” and the other was set on fire.  A spokesperson for the DOCCS said the incidents were reported to have happened last Wednesday.

The reported vandalism happened as protests happened at Correctional Facilities across the state, including Auburn, Cayuga, and Five Points, by officers who cited unsafe working conditions.
