A home health care aide has agreed to not work in the field for the next five years as part of her sentencing in Cayuga County Court this week.
Linda Edersheim was also sentenced to five years probation for endangering the welfare of an incompetent or physically disabled person. The 58-year-old Elbridge woman was arrested in August for wiping a soiled diaper across the face of a home health care patient.
Edersheim was previously convicted of animal cruelty in 2003 for incidents that happened when she lived in Fleming
