A Cayuga County business has received $240,000 from New York State to increase its ability to contribute to the region’s agricultural economy.

As part of the project, Cuff Farm Services Inc will build and install a robotic welding cell to repair augers in manure separators. This is expected to provide significant savings to area farmers’ operating costs and reduce equipment downtime.

The funding comes from Empire State Development grants and Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits through Round XII of the Regional Economic Development Council Initiative.
