If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to make maple syrup, you’re in luck.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County is hosting a backyard maple syrup workshop later this month at the Scipio Center Volunteer Fire Department. Attendees will learn about identifying maple trees, collecting sap, and turning it into syrup.

There is a $10.00 fee to attend the January 27 event and registration is required. Registration info can be found on the extension’s website.
