The Cayuga Museum’s Executive Director has been recognized for her work at the nearly 90-year-old institution.

Kirsten Gosch has been named as one of Central New York Business Journal’s 2025 40 Under 40 awardees, the museum announced.

“I am thrilled to be included in this year’s 40 under Forty class — what an honor! I’m proud to serve the community with an impressive group of my peers. Congratulations to all,” Gosch told Finger Lakes News Radio.

Gosch served as the museum’s curator from 2013-2018. In 2019, she became the museum’s executive director. During her time at the museum, Gosch guided the institution through the COVID-19 pandemic, expanded educational programming that engages with over 1,000 children 12 and under annually, and oversaw the creation and completion of the West End Arts Campus, a joint venture with the Schweinfurth Art Center.
