Two Cayuga County organizations have made it to the final stage of the Syracuse Area Music Awards People’s Choice Awards.
Perform 4 Purpose, a Cayuga County nonprofit offering free music instruction to area youth, is competing in the Local Academic or Musical Organization category. If successful, this will be Perform 4 Purpose’s second SAMMY award, having won its first award in 2024.
Lunkenheimer Craft Brewing Company is competing in the Local Venue category. It had also made it to the semi-finals in the Local Event or Music Series, but lost out on a final spot in the previous round of voting.
Voting in the finals is open until March 1. Voting can be done here.
