Cayuga County Fills Vacant Finance Director Position

The vacant director of finance position in Cayuga County has been filled by the legislature.

Grace Blowers has been promoted to oversee the finance department. The Citizen reports Blowers has worked for more than two decades in finance roles in county government and was in charge of the finances of the county’s Department of Social Services.

Blowers was appointed to fill out the remaining three-year term of Mary Beth Leeson, who left the job for a position at Cayuga Community College.
