If you live in Cayuga County, you can help combat hunger this weekend.
The Boy Scouts Longhouse Council will be collecting canned goods from 9:00a-12:00p on Saturday at the Owasco Fire Department as part of their annual Scouting for Food Initiative. The scouts ask that all donations be nonperishable canned goods and they will not accept glass items.
This will be a drive thru event with donations going to food pantires throughout the county.
