A Tuesday morning car accident in the City of Auburn is under investigation.
The two-car accident occurred at the intersection of Seminary Ave and the Arterial West (Rts 5&20). One car sustained heavy damage after hitting a power box, causing the traffic lights to go out.
Auburn Police, Fire, NYSEG, and Department of Transportation personnel were all present.
According to witnesses, multiple people were taken to the hospital. Two dogs were also rescued from the vehicle that hit the power box.
