Following the closure of Wells College, the Aurora Farmers Market has found a new location for 2025.
The market has announced on Facebook that it will move operations to the grass area behind the Aurora Fire House on Sherwood Rd. The village board supported the move which coincides with the market’s tenth anniversary season.
The market gave special thanks to Mayor Jim Orman, Village Clerk Ann Balloni, and the village board for their support, allowing the market to continue.
The market had previously been held at the Wells College Boathouse lawn. Following last year’s announcement that the college would close after 156 years in the village, the market was able to remain at the boathouse lawn for the 2024 season.
This year, the Aurora Farmers Market will occur on Saturdays from 10:00a-2:00p beginning May 31.
