If you live in Cayuga County, you can make sure your child is in the right car seat this week. The Aurelius Volunteer Fire Department will host a car seat check on Thursday from 4:00-7:00p at its 6320 Half Acre Road station.
No appointment is needed and an indoor garage is available for inspections should it rain.
The car seat check is sponsored by the Aurelius Fire Department, New York State Police, and the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.
