The first of Auburn’s two Spring Clean-up Days will take place later this month.

City residents can bring garbage, recycling, furniture, and more to the City Transfer Station at no cost to them. Items containing Freon, such as refrigerators and air conditioners, will be accepted for a $45.00 fee.

The event runs from 7:00-11:30a on April 27, the same day as Cayuga County’s electronic waste recycling day.

Rules for the event along with a list of what items will and won’t be accepted can be found on the city’s website. Anyone with questions is asked to call 315-252-6441.

The second Spring Clean-up Day for Auburn residents will be May 11.
