The city of Auburn has settled its dispute with Walgreens over the store’s property tax assessment from 2016. City Clerk Chuck Mason said the settlement includes Cayuga County and the Auburn Enlarged City School District.
Mason added that it is not unusual for taxing entities like the city of Auburn to have an assessment challenged by a big box store like Walgreens
