It’s March and that means budget preparation is underway at the Auburn Enlarged City School District.
Speaking on FLX Morning, Superintendent Jeff Pirozzolo said that while he is waiting on some data, he plans on holding a budget workshop later this month.
“We’re still waiting on a few numbers so we can really tighten up where we’re going to be at,” said Pirozzolo. “We’ll probably be doing a budget meeting workshop the second meeting in March with our entire board.”
A workshop was held in January using preliminary budget numbers.
This year’s budget vote is scheduled for May 14 from 7:00a-9:00p. Three school board seats will also be up for grabs.
