Auburn School Board Member Resigns

(Ed Vivenzio, Finger Lakes News Radio)

A member of the Auburn Enlarged City School District Board of Education has resigned, and the board is now deciding how to fill the seat.

Freddie Wilson III, who was elected to a three-year term on the board in 2023, resigned last week. The Citizen reports Wilson resigned due to health reasons.

The board must decide on appointing someone to the seat immediately or waiting until the annual Board of Education election next month.
