Auburn Man Sentenced for Stabbing Bar Employee

The Auburn man who assaulted a bar employee last year has been sentenced.

The Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office reports that 40-year-old Gregory Jordan was sentenced to five years in prison plus three years post-release supervision.

A trial determined that, at approximately 2:20a on May 29, 2022, Jordan sliced the victim’s neck with a knife while at Swifty’s Bar on Perrine Street in Auburn, leaving a wound of over three inches in length.

In May of 2023, he was convicted of the violent felony.
