Two felony convictions secured by the Cayuga County District Attorney’s Office were upheld by the Appellate Division in Rochester. District Attorney Brittany Grome-Antonacci announced Monday that the court upheld the convictions Friday of James Greer and Tony Henderson.
On May 12, 2022, Greer was sentenced to 1 1/2-3 years in prison after pleading guilty to Attempted Assault. On March 8, he admitted in court to stabbing a man outside an Auburn bar on August 26, 2020.
Henderson was sentenced to three years in prison followed by two years post-release supervision after pleading guilty to two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia on August 16, 2021. On July 19, 2019, a state trooper pulled over Henderson’s vehicle in the Town of Locke where over half an ounce of cocaine and a scale were found. He later admitted to possessing the scale and cocaine with the intent to sell the drug.
