Fuller Road in Montezuma, from Turnpike to Carner Roads, was closed for several hours on Wednesday after an 18-wheeler overturned, spilling 100 gallons of diesel fuel.
The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was able to escape. The State DEC sent crews in to clean up the spill.
The driver complained of chest pain and was transported to the hospital.
