Wreaths Across America In Two Town Of Canandaigua Cemeteries

National Wreaths Across America Day: Saturday, Dec 13 at 12 Noon. For the third year, the Town of Canandaigua’s Academy and Hunn Cemeteries will be part of this national program. These historic cemeteries contain the graves of veterans who served in wars from the Revolutionary War thru Vietnam. WAA’s mission is to Remember the fallen, Honor those who serve, and Teach our children the value of Freedom. Visit WreathsAcrossAmerica.org/NY0540 to sponsor a wreath or volunteer at either cemetery. A 12 Noon ceremony will be held at both Cemeteries; wreath laying immediately following. Over 5,500 locations will participate. FREE and open to everyone.
