For the second year, the Town of Canandaigua’s Academy and Hunn Cemeteries will be part of this national program. These historic cemeteries contain the graves of veterans who served in wars from the Revolutionary War through Vietnam. Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to REMEMBER the nation’s fallen, HONOR those who serve, and TEACH the next generation about the value of freedom.

A 12 Noon ceremony will be held at both cemeteries, with wreath placement immediately following. This year there will be more than 4,500 participating locations. National Wreaths Across America Day is FREE and open to everyone.
