For this year’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday, Americans are encouraged to “Do History.” How do museums do this? How do we figure out the stories of our past? Do you ever wonder how we research our blogs, programs, and exhibits at Historic Geneva? Our archival collection is key to these stories. In this program, we’re shining a spotlight on telling stories with archives. Archivist Becky Chapin and Director of Education Anne Dealy will host an interactive workshop featuring handpicked items from the Historic Geneva Archive. They will challenge attendees to look closer at a selection of photos, scrapbooks, diaries, and other documents in order to tell their stories beyond a first glance. J
