Cayuga County residents will have a chance tonight to make their voices heard on whether or not the county should provide a tax exemption to volunteer firefighters and ambulance workers.
A public hearing will be held at the county legislature’s meeting before a vote on a law that would provide a tax exemption, pursuant to the New York Real Property Tax Law, for the volunteers. T
he meeting begins at 5:30p at the County Office Building.
